Wait what all this thread and NO love for the Sapphire TOXIC cards ? man do I gotta do everything ? HA !

OP, seriously if Bang for your Buck is at all a concern, trust me and the others that have advised you ... the Sapphire HD-6950 TOXIC edition should be seriously considered by ANY new GPU buyer, no matter the budget, no matter if he's an nVidia fan boy, no matter WHAT ... it's honestly THAT GOOD of a card. Edit: Oh wait you just GOT one ? HA! smart man

You can find ALL the INFO you'd ever want to know about the 6950/70 TOXIC card on my New Club too btw ... SAPPhIRE TOXIC HD-6950 Club ... give it a look see.

I endorse this post. Yeah, I admit I was being a bit of an Nvidia fan man Overall I concede to the fact that both the 6950 and 6970 offer better price per performance than the GTX 570, and 580 for that matter. The fact that the standard 570 only offers 1.28gb of memory kind of puts it in a bad spot when you're looking at longevity....I don't understand why Nvidia chose to bottleneck their top two high-end gpu's with limited vram. Hopefully it'll be different with the Kepler series. If not, I have no problem buying AMD. I have no allegiance to either company...

Toxic 6950 is a great card, you won't be disappointed with it.

@ LA_Kings_Fan, Kepler is slated to have 1.5GB on the low end cards and 2GB on everything else from the leaks we've seen so far. If that is true or not, I couldn't tell you. But I can be hopeful that they figured it out by now.
