In my experience CM psu's suck. My 430w couldn't power an athlon ii build w/ an 8800gt.

Cooler Master 460W power supply

My budget is about $250. I had gtx 560 and hd 6870 (only one) in mind.

I need to know if these graphics card will work on my motherboard? and will there be a CPU bottleneck?

I am upgrading so that I can play Skyrim, FIFA 12 etc.

Also is my current setup going to deliver better graphics and performance than a console?

Thanks in advance.

Get a xfx hd6950 1gb $210 at newegg,
it will be a rocking card and it will be more powerful than a gtx560ti.
However I highly recommend you a quality 500watt psu.

For graphics card I would get something like this. That way you have money left over to pick up more ram or a cpu cooler.
If your going to get a cpu cool the 212+ is good but for a little bit more you could get the Corsair A70.

I'd like to clarify that I don't live in the US. Whatever you recommend you off newegg will cost me an extra 30-40 bucks. If I get a 560tI ,I can't get a new psu. I've highlighted this PSU.
This would cost me INR 4800 or $96. The graphics card I'm considering will cost me Rs. 12,450 or $249.

Can anybody tell me for sure if my PSU will support a 560 or 560 ti?

Does anyone know what does greater than 70% efficiency mean for a PSU?

I checked the Benchmarks at Anandtech and would like to know what does "Total System Power in Watts" mean.

Does it include the power consumption of all components in the rig or it only refers to the power consumption of the graphics card?

For GTX 560 Ti it is 352 watts.

Its up to you.
Do you really want choppy 40~50FPS - 60? With Vsync?
Better Graphic quality in games?

Or do you want Decent Graphic quality? and smooth games?

There is a way to get adapters or whatever is called for PS3 or Xbox
you can use your keyboard and mouse there

i suggest you Xbox or PS3 over the PC..

EDIT: depends what games you are playing ofcourse

Consoles GPU are equal in performance of a 7800gtx but games are more optimized for consoles than PCs since every Xbox has the same configuration; therefore, it's easier to code games. So since games are optimized for consoles I would say either a 9600gt or an 8800gt will be compared to console graphics(keep in mind that most console games run @30 fps, this guy http://www.youtube.com/user/DigitalFoundry has a lot of console framerate analysis videos)

40-50 fps isn't bad compared to 30 fps in consoles. Also, consoles don't max out games anyways.
