Better Graphic quality in games?

Or do you want Decent Graphic quality? and smooth games?

There is a way to get adapters or whatever is called for PS3 or Xbox
you can use your keyboard and mouse there

i suggest you Xbox or PS3 over the PC..

EDIT: depends what games you are playing ofcourse
As far as I know 40 -50 fps is not bad at 1080p. And graphics can be adjusted in a PC to get smooth graphics.

My concern with consoles are many fold. My first Xbox 360 got the RROD. Since it was modded I couldn't get warranty support. But such a major error should never have been there. I don't think I would ever buy Xbox 360.

Plus the games are too expensive and the PS3 mod isn't a very good solution and can't play many of the new games.

So as of now I'm looking to upgrade my PC and play with better graphics. As far as game selection goes, I'll have to live with it.

I will buy the next generation of consoles.

I dislike consoles because of the issue with games being so damn expensive! I just buy all my games when they go on sale on steam.

Which company GPU should I buy? Should I buy factory OCed or OC it myself. Again do consider the power consumption.

You make it sound like the 560 is slower than 6850(it's not) and you make it sound like the 560 ti is slower than the 6870 (it's definitely not)

What I have gathered over the last few days is this:

HTC 560 < HD 6870 < HTC 560 TI < HD 6950.

I'm gonna buy the card next weekend depending on the deal I get. The gtx 560 ti is definitely within budget. If I can get a hd 6950 within budget I'll go for that.

Having a gaming PC and a PS3 is the best of both worlds, you get a Blu-ray player with tons of console exclusives and a gaming PC for FPS and graphics-heavy stuff.

Hate to admit it, but tons of good games are on consoles : Uncharted, God of War, Final Fantasy, Killzone, Halo, Gears of War, Heavy Rain, Little Big Planet, Metal Gear Solid, Shadow of the Colossus, Red Dead Redemption, Infamous, Resistance, Vanquish, Catherine, etc.

This is a hard call since there are great PS3 titles round the corner, FF Versus, SoC/Ico HD remake, The Last Guardian(Hell yes). But game would no doubt run better and look better, and come out with mods (Skyrim) to last you for a while. But, I would get a 560ti since a PC will be used alot more than a PS3 day-to-day.

Does it have PCI-e 16x? If so, yes.

console gaming and pc gaming are on different levels. I play both in my opinion its like comparing handheld gaming consoles to smart phone gaming. Both are capable of delivering amazing games it just comes down to which ones you want to play.
