BF3 framedrops

Thread Starter
Hello,

I'm having some framedrops from time to time, even when nothing is going on.
It usually drops way back to 30fps while my avg is about 70/80fps.

It only happens in the MP, the SP runs fine. I do have 285.62 installed.

I'm running it on 1920x1200, all Ultra, 4xAA

Ive had the very same thing in the beta, but later it was fixed somehow.

anyone?

getting a similar problem with my 6870 crossfire setup. It's possible it may just be a memory leak and hopefully an update will fix it.

I tried out Game Booster and it seemed to help.

But my issue is due to the amount of RAM used. I would pretty much run out. But it looks like you should be fine with 8GB.

Also, like said above. HT might be causing you the problem.

It could be the AA. For me at 1920x1200 with AA enabled my frame rates tank and go all over the place. I turned AA off and my is pretty smooth all over now...

Guys, reason game booster works is it disables services you don't need, hence freeing up ram, modifies page file for some systems with less ram and it's stopping the issues.
