While I agree that orange and black are a little contrasting, I think 'ugly' is a tad extreme.

I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Faenza either (nicely polished, but so much squares!)

It's the Faenza icons designer, not Faenza icons. If Ubuntu were going to just use Faenza, they wouldn't need to hire the designer to make /new/ icons. thumb.gif

Yeah I worked that much out. I'm just saying that I'm not the biggest fan of Faenza thus not that bothered by the prospect of him working for Canonical.

I have a VM with it right now. It's pretty decent. Needs some polish but way better looking than some other distros that look like a mess.

I think he must be going for that look, with the start button and all.

1. why are you only using kernel 3.4 with arch?

2. can you post the wallpaper?

Looks like Windows XP or below with a VM in seamless mode.

Notice the Arch logo under the virtual machine is the first item in the window list. And how xterm doesn't show up in that same window list thumb.gif

Also some of the desktop applications.

You guys can be so gullible.

It was foobar2000 that had me suspicious as that app had it's linux support terminated a couple of years ago.

Looking at it again though, he even has a Windows command prompt (c:\) on one Window. That should have been a give away laugher.gif
