"just the girl" would make it rather empty.
As for "different image inside the orb", what do you see? I'm sure that putting a nyan cat would be odd. tongue.gif

true, perhaps instead of the 'M' logo, put the KDE symbol in there but in greeny blue ?
post #4434 of 7733
another rep for shrak! changing the font worked. It's actully smaller then I had it in debian now, went from size 16 to 13

makes the desktop seems a lot cleaner. Now I need to make/ steal code for a good bash script in the top right corner.

This is where the arch forums came in handy. The fedora forums are full of people complaining about things that are evidently all selinux problems.

EDIT--

it also makes my monitor look bigger in screenshots rolleyes.gif

Will let my mind forge something soon, hopefully tomorrow. I'm getting tired, focusing for long just doesn't do me well -_-

ok, so I put together a small script (started as shraks) to replace the version number on the right of dwm's bar.
Code:
mem(){
     mem="$(free -m | grep buffers/cache | awk '{print $3}')"
     echo -e " RAM: $mem MB "
     }

cpu(){
     cpu="$(awk '{print $1;}' /proc/loadavg)"
     echo -e " CPU: $cpu "
     }

dte(){
     dte="$(date "+%a %m/%d/%Y %I:%M")"
     echo -e " TIME: $dte "
     }

# Pipe to status bar
  xsetroot -name "$(mem)  $(cpu)  $(dte)"

and it looks like this:

note that the cpu is in load, not percent, which I like/don't mind.

now what would I add to get it to repeat every ten seconds?

I tried:
Code:
wait 10 && ~/.dwm_status.sh && exit

but I guess I'm using wait wrong because bash says
Code:
/home/JLloyd13/.dwm_status.sh: line 18: wait: pid 10 is not a child of this shell

what would you do to make it delay and would the rest of the script work?
