Secondly, what distro is that?
Ubuntu 7.04, decided to mess around with Linux a bit the other day, made a small partition.

To remove the logos/icons from menus:

System> Preferences> Menus & Toolbars> Uncheck "Show Icons in Menus"

I can't stand using a bright theme for very long. I also was looking for a emerald theme to match xfce-dusk but couldn't find one, so I made one. Its kinda based off "Scaled Black Mod" but it gels really well with XFCE. I'll export and upload if anybody wants it.

I find Xfce to be very much faster than its gnome counterpart. Boot time was cut in half, and anything on the desktop is instantly available (no waiting for hourglasses, etc.) It looks like gnome anyway, so why not take less resources? heh
