but dont you think xfce works really well with the current trend of 'flat' if you look back at mine you can see it looks really flat and i think very clean and modern (not the last one but the one before that)
often the animation gets in the way of the action ! on xfce you click its there. on anything with effects it has to bounce in and out before you see the window
Yes, of course it does, what you've done there is amazing. Personally I just enable composite, drop some shadows on the windows (I'm a traditionalist when it comes to UIs) and I'm pretty happy.
I also dislike animations, but I don't have any animations, just shadows and transparency. That's literally it.
Since it's the point of the thread, have a look!
(I'm back on pure Arch Linux btw)
