Thanks...PS I assume you know this but you could just list them in one install command like "install blue dark normal". Saves time and fingers. thumb.gif

By the way anyone try out Kingsoft Office yet? Is it any better at dealing with stupid MSOffice2010+ formatting than Libre/Open Office? I really hate MS for their stupid change of format and refusal to work keep proper formatting of even the most basic open file formats.

I screwed up the archbang install so I built a new Arch install what really suprises me is that even running a full gnome desktop that it's no slower than just running LXDE or Openbox

Don't worry, gnome will "fix" that soon enough. rolleyes.gif

Been switching to a two-panel layout. It's far superior, though I lose 24 vertical pixels. This is from 2 monitors:

Been setting up a lot of keyboard shortcuts to things using the nearly unused SUPER key too.

Well since it is only an Alpha stage I'd assume it is buggy. Haven't tried it yet and I'm not sure what the full version is but the free one seemed enough for me on my Android phone...though I didn't really try to do much with it.

its 'Application Launcher QML' its available from the widget 'store' or whatever word best describes the widget thing built into KDE redface.gif

I changed the settings so that the menu only has 1 column so it always starts on Favourites (locked favourites) on boot and increased the icon size to 48

the theme is an air type one to give the transparency and even though its meant for a launcher with a button it can be fixed to the desktop as a widget.. which is what i did there, but a button looks the same.

its really slick and slidey like a tablet UI but with no loss in functionality

hope that helps
