You like any of this?

Yes. It is.

I'm using the Numix theme. Or more precisely the NumixBLUE theme, which is a variant that works better with XFCE. It's in the AUR, make sure it's the right capitalisation. NumixBlue with lowercase is wrong.
The icons are Faience. They are in the official repos.
And the font is Clear Sans, a free font made by Intel of all people. I'm also using the Infinality font rendering patches though. The ArchWiki has a page on that.

And FYI, you're using a VM now though, but if you're going to install Arch natively in the future; if you use the NVidia proprietary drivers, you'll notice VSync won't work on the desktop. I fixed that by installing a standalone compositor, Compton, instead of using XFCE's own compositor. Works great.

Good luck. smile.gif

Thanks for that I will try it out. I never understood why Vsync is needed on the desktop, guessing it would stop tearing?

Yes. I don't like to see tearing while I'm scrolling a webpage, and it's unacceptable when I'm watching a film in MPV/VLC.

I love Numix, really awesome theme. It recently made it into the official repo's too. smile.gif

At first glance that looked like a scene from Stargate SG1.

What's numix? Is that a DE?

It's a GTK theme: http://satya164.deviantart.com/art/Numix-GTK3-theme-360223962
They're also working on a couple icon packs that look pretty nice.

Oh wow, that is actually pretty sleek.

Pity there aren't better themes for Qt frown.gif

Nice wall!

I'm a new crunchbang user, and I'm looking to move to archlinux too (maybe Manjaro or Archbang first, more friendly to install I guess).

I'm running #! in in several old school machines like athlon 64 X (socket 939), and two athlon 64 X2 (socket AM2), openbox is the best for this old desktops recovered from trash (really).

They work so fine and I like a lot the interface.
