And after the frustration of trying to get Open Vpn and VMM working I have regressed to Mint XFCE which seems to be the only distro that will switch on a VPN for me (When I was on Windoze I purchased a VPN license for a year) and don't get me started on VMM mad.gif

In the end I've realised that I dived in the deep end of the pool without learning how to swim first redface.gif, so it's step back fiddle with Mint for a while until I can learn, learn and learn more.

Happy Linuxing Peoples

Kind Regards

So I want I want to instal nvidia driver for manjaro so I looked it up in the AUR and found the nvidia 337.12 beta driver but when I use this command
Code:
sudo pacman -Sy nvidia-beta

It can't find the nvidia driver,so when I checked the AUR again I found out that the modules repo so can anyone help me with adding the modules repo to my pacman.conf? redface.gif

The AUR is not where pacman pulls from, you have to manually download and build packages from the AUR. If you want it to be simple like pacman look up "yaourt".

Manjaro has an AUR wrapper already preinstalled.
Also, the nvidia drivers are in the official repos.

The "beta" drivers he was looking at are in AUR; https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/nvidia-beta/
Code:
Package Details: nvidia-beta 337.12-1

But, what he doesn't seem to realize is Arch is pretty bleeding edge and those drivers are the same version as the main drivers; https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/nvidia/
Code:
nvidia 337.12-1

I didn't see that second one when searching and only found the beta ones so thanks for pointing it out smile.gif
