Damn. I have been using The X-Fi Support Pack since 2.0 on my PCI X-Fi Platinum which worked great. Sadly my new system is a X79 board wich are hard to find with a PCI slot and even harder still to get with a PCI slot you can use with SLI. Sadly I had to pick up a X-Fi Titanium to continue using an X-Fi like I wanted but turns out Creative nerfed the damn thing and I can no longer use the SPDIF In to decode DD DTS to my analog Klipsch 4.1's from my PS3. *** happened there? I have scoured the web seeing if anyone has had any luck with driver hacks or anything to get it to work, but sadly it looks like everyone is screwed in this sense. Everything else seems to work fine, but with my PS3 being my main 3D/BR player, having to play everything at 2Ch PCM again really stinks.

I guess one day I may finally have to pick up a reciever or a new Digital set of speakers, but it is hard to replace such a clean setup until some OEM fudges up their drivers/support.

Not a day into my new build and I already miss my Platinum. Bought that thing a few days before it was released since I worked at BB at the time biggrin.gif.
