Upgrading my GTX 460, who's got the best for ~$250?

BF3@ 1920x1080 gets about 40FPS on high with my 460 and a phenom II at 3.89ghz. To slow for me, so whats the best power house I can get for about $250? Considering the 6950 2gb or a 560ti DCII

The 6950 will technically be faster, but either one is a good choice. I'm assuming you cannot SLI or else I'd suggest another GTX 460.

Go with the 6950 2gb. I was torn between the two as well. I was looking at the Sapphire 6950 2gb Dirt 3 Edition and the MSI GTX 560 Ti 2gb Twin Frozr II. They are roughly equal, however the Sapphire can typically unlock to a 6970 pushing it far past the GTX 560 Ti. Also, if in the future you wanted to run more than one graphics card, it will be easier to find a 6950 2gb than a 560 Ti 2gb.

How big of a performance difference am I likely to see? Most benchmarks I see only put the 6950 ~12FPS faster than the 460 in bf3

Don't have the power or fast enough PCI slot speed to do it I dont think

Go 460 SLI setup it will give you the best performance increase, because it is almost equal to a GTX 580.

I also upgraded to SLI a few weeks ago.

Get the 6950 and overclock it. If you get one with a good cooler you can get it up to 950 or 1000Mhz.

Look at the reviews on this card (and check out the heat pipes):

Then when you have another $250, get another one and CrossFire it
