Hello all. This will be the place where I showcase the build and eventually the finished product of the Chameleon build.
First off this build is sponsored by CaseLabs, who provided me with the Magnum 8 case and pedestal. Jim was kind enough to send one over my way to house this behemoth.
Second, I would like to give a huge thanks to Jeremy, the President of Danger Den, for the prototype/pre-release x79 cpu waterblock.
The Goal:
-Achieve 5GHZ+ on a 3930K [Accomplished]
-Achieve the lowest possible temps at stock
-If it can be watercooled, it should be watercooled (except the hard drives)
The plan
A UV green with UV blue outlining color scheme and as much water cooling as possible. I will be painting a lot of the case and brackets, and finally foaming the inside of the case for a professional looking finish..
The build will include:
CaseLabs M8
Intel 3930K Sandy Bridge-E Socket 2011 CPU [Watercooled]
Asus Rampage IV Extreme x79 chipset Motherboard [Watercooled]
Corsair Dominator 32GB DDR3 1866 [Watercooled]
Two EVGA 480GTX in SLI [Watercooled]
4x 2TB Western Digital Green hard drives (data storage) [Will not make it into the build until current hard drive prices go back down]
1x 1TB Western Digital Black Sata III drive (applications)
1x OCZ Vertex 2 90GB SSD (OS)
1000w Kingwin Lazer Modular PSU
Watercooling:
Prototype/Pre-release Danger Den x79 CPU waterblock
EK RE4 motherboard waterblocks
Two EK Copper Ram waterblock
Two EK FC 480GTX waterblocks
Four Three Swiftech MCR320-XP Radiators
Two Swifttech MCP665 pumps
Bitspower Dual D5 Mod Top (POM Version)
Bitspower Premium G1/4" High Flow 3/8" Fittings
Alphacool Cape Coolplex Pro 25 Reservoir
PrimoFlex Pro LRT UV Green Tubing - 3/8" ID x 1/2" OD
For reference, my previous build included:
Intel i7 950 (EK supreme block)
6gb DDR3 1066
SLI EVGA 480's (with EK blocks)
Asus Rampage IV Formula
Assortment of hard drives (OCZ Vertex 2, WD Black 1tb, Seagate 1.5tb, Samsung 1tb, Seagate 500gb)
A special thanks to CaseLabs for sending me the case and letting me build with this.

And also a special thanks to Danger Den for the prototype socket 2011 CPU waterblock!
