MSI GTX 560ti Hawk SLI - Page 3

OK installed SLI, I have spent few hours with testing GPUs (stress test), everything seems fine except temperatures.
I am having 94 °C GPU Temperature and 102 °C Memory Temperature for each card in max stress test.

What about Memory Temperatures, are they safe over 100 °C ? Thanks!

Something doesn't seem right 94c on your gpu's is high, I'm getting below 70's on my 2 cards in SLI.

Make sure you have enough air flow in your case to lower your gpu temperatures.

Kind of answered your own Q assuming you have a different case. What fan speed though? They'd probably be closer to Rum's if you run a 75% fan speed or such.

Uff just noticed that in BF3 on ULTRA settings I get lags with 27 FPS, but both GPU are working only for 50-60%, have u any idea why ? frown.gif
BF3 is not optimized for SLI ? Or why GPU core is throttling ??

With Metro 2033 I got beautiful graphics with >60 FPS on MAX settings. Thanks guys!

Turning of AA doesnt help, BF3 still using GPUs on 50%, and FPS between 35-70

Just tested Wither 2 and same problem, both GPUs on 55% and I also got horrible FPS 18 with ULTRA settings....

Fortunately I got really amazing score with Heaven Benchmark 1999

So I suppose this is only pure software problem. Btw I updated today driver to latest nivdia 301.42

I think problem is somewhere between 301.42 driver and SLI support in game.

You should be getting 98-99% Gpu usage in BF3, I'd check to see what your cpu cores are running at. You might be getting cpu bottle necked.

What cpu are you using and at what clock speed?

It make sense, but I hope you are not right. I bought cpu only 6 months ago. My CPU is AMD Phenom X4 955 3200 MHz. I know this cpu "is not the best". What do you think about this CPU for this SLI ?

I will test core usage as soon as I return from work smile.gif
