If I drop everything down to Low quality, GPU usage drops to 50% on both cards.

If I keep the quality and just drop the resolution, GPU usage drops again...

Its almost as if the game has a performance limiter...

When Bad company 2 came out, I was thinking the same thing. It seemed as if it was limiting the potential of my machine. Same with crysis. I would not be surprised. Maybe a little pay off from Nvidia, AMD and Intel so they sell newer cards and CPU's. These company's are in it to make money.

You said both cards, so he has SLI? Have you tried one card? How about you try to put your card in his computer and his card in your computer.

look into your gpu usage sabbath, see if its stuck at around 70%... would be interesting to see....

I would try just overclocking it. It's worth a chance to see if it will clear things up.

on my sig rig I get between 30-55fps, although my gpu usage never goes above 60%
sort of annoying.
