6950 TOXic 2G Reusing Vrm HSF

Not so good with gpus but i was asking if i could reuse the VRM pads or should i first clean the VRM pads first?Those white things in the pics below:




Should i first clean them or just reuse them without necessary cleaning.

You dont need to clean them white pads like on both sides, once you peel them off, they will either stretch or break apart. Just clean them slightly and you should be all good.

No need to clean the thermal pads on VRMs and VRAM. You need to replace the pads if they are damaged or torn otherwise no need. But you need to clean the thermal paste then re-apply once you take the HSF apart.

Thanks.Does all types of pads work or do they need to have their own specific thermal resistance?
