5570 Overclockin'

Hey guys, I think I am satisfied for now. I just overclocked my 5570 with MSI Afterburner and would like to share my results, at least for now. I used MSI Kombustor for benchmarking, Lemme show you

Card: Asus Radeon EAH5570 (hd5570) 1gb GDDR3
Settings: No AA, DX11, 1280x1024 res
Burn in style benchmark

Run #1: (stock)
Core: 650mhz
Memory: 800mhz
Results: 1081 points
Bandwidth: 25.6GB/s

Run #2: (Factory OC Limit)
Core: 700mhz
Memory: 950mhz
Results: 1276 points
Bandwidth: 30.4GB/s
Validation: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/ub5fd/

Run #3: (Limit bypassed)
Core: 750mhz
Memory: 1000mhz
Results: 1358 points
Bandwidth: 32.0GB/s
Validation: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/9fxdf/

Run #4: (My limits)
Core: 750mhz
Memory: 1040mhz
Results: 1410 points
Bandwidth: 33.3GB/s
Validation:http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/6v/

All the temps reach 58c max besides the stock.

So as you can see that is quite a difference when overclocked. I had to modify Afterburner's config to allow the limit to be lifted. I did have it at a 800/1040 oc but it would freeze when burning in. The core is the limit for the oc. I also learned that these things share the same chip as the 5670! Remember this ram is ddr3, with a Redwood chip. I hope this gave you an idea of how this card runs overclocked!

For the 750/1000 I get 58c max. I also noticed a nice increase of fps while playing Crysis at 1280x1024, shaders on High everything else is Very High, 8x AA!
