building a new system based around the x79 chipset.

will the h100 fit with a push/pull setup?

processor will be the 3820 or 3930K (still undecided)

mobo is the rampage IV x79

I've got a haf922 on my backup computer. I'm thinking you can't mount a h100 on the top, but I'm sure you could on the door. There's a space on the door for 2 120mm fan spaces where you could mount this...
Should work, but I doubt there would be enough space if you mounted the H100 with 4 fans

Update: I've looked around the net and as said below you can mount on top, but only enough room for push...

If its mounted externally or at the bottom with some modding done to the HDD cages. I just installed a 240 with my custom loop; and it only has about 1mm clearance from the start of the ram sticks;

and this is only push, no pull.

I have no idea why on earth you would install your rad on the door, you wouldn't be able to take off your door without taking off the pump/block.

Edit: sorry for double post

I have a Rasa RS240 kit (not sure how the rads compare), and I was able to fit it in the top of my HAF 922 with 2 fans in push. Pull fans won't fit because they'd hit the RAM slots.

Just to clarify, it can be done, but only in push.

You can fit it in the top spot, however to do push/pull 2 fans have to sit on the outside. It should be alright if you get a fan grill or metal filter so nothing gets in the fans on accident.

EDIT you could also do this http://www.mysterybyte.com/phpBB3/vi...php?f=7&t=2850
