I don't think you understand. The HA-RX700's blow the 777's out of the water. It is absolutely no contest. Buy a mic later on, or buy a Zalman clip on mic for $8. Don't buy that garbage headset, it is worthless.

The HA-RX700 is an entry level gaming headset and it is perfectly acceptable for music as well.

This, the JVC's are incredible for their price point.

This. They are absolutely incredible for the price. They will sound like $100+ headphones to you. They have a wide soundstage so you can pinpoint things easier in video games and the bass and mids are really excellent for music.

You can also do the foam mod to improve the sound stage on the rx700s.

The prices for the rx700s fluctuate on Amazon, right now they're around $40, I got them last month for $33 shipped. Still worth it though, good cans for that price.
