Agreed. Plus rubberized keys feel like crap to type on imo.

For a full size board with MX Reds I'd go with Leopold, there aren't many options for this switch and Leopold is a solid brand. For a tenkeyless with MX Reds I'd go Leopold or CM Storm, depending on which stabilizer type you prefer and if branding bothers you or not.

I heeded the advice in this thread, so I found the Mionix Zibal 60 and CM Storm Quickfire Rapid and created the other thread.

HWI, do you reccomend Cherry MX Black, Red or Brown? I will be mostly gaming ( BF3 and Skyrim) but I will be doing some side web browsing for Skyrim mods so I will be typing a lot as well.

I have never used mechanical keyboards, this is the keyboard I have (in this combo):

Do you feel like Blacks are harder to type on than regular keyboards? I'm wondering if I should get browns, because it is in between both, but Black may be easier than what I'm use to, so I don't want to make the wrong purchase.

Well, switch type is really a preference more than anything. Personally, I like light switches(reds are my favorite, browns my second favorite). I found blacks to be too heavy and caused finger fatigue during long sessions of gaming and I ended up selling the keyboard because of it. Some people prefer the heavier switches, so it's really hard to recommend a switch if you have never tried one before. That being said, browns are generally considered a good switch to try first.
