Strangeness in BF3 only when Llano BLCK >= 133

I have a X4 631 + MSI A77MA-G55. When I OC with BLCK between 100 and 120, BF3 runs fine but I get low benchmarks. When I OC with BCLK at 133 I get way higher benchmarks but BF3 online runs like there's something wrong with the netcode. The FPS is great (I can look around very smoothly) but when I try to run with my player it runs ~30% slower and when I hold down shoot, the bullets are not quite continuous but rather get interrupted every 3 or so bullets with a very brief loss of sound. This happens like clockwork in BF3 with BLCK set to 133 or higher. Characters also pop in and out and transport from one place to another.

With the 133 it's great because i'm not CPU limited anymore but it also totally screws up the game that I bought new HW for. Any idea on settings I could trying tweaking to solve this weird online related overclocking issue?

When I switch back to BCLK under 133 everything is back to normal, but slow.

How are you testing for stability (e.g. prime95, etc...)? How much voltage have you tried? What is your full system configuration (fill it out User CP -> Edit System)?

I have the same MB( you mean msi a75ma-g55 right) + a6-3650 and have the same problem in BF3. I didnt realize it was bc of the bus clock, I thought it was some lag from servers. I'll have to try and set it below 133 and see if it helps. I'd rather not do that though since I currently have it running at 4ghz and 160 bus clock. Please let me know if you figure out a solution. Thanks.

I use prim95, super pi 32M and MSI Kombuster. I've tried CPU voltages ranging from Auto to 1.46v, NB of Auto to 1.22 for DRAM Auto to 1.68. All of the stability/stress tests pass. I'm concerned that once you hit 133 and some internal dividers take effect, something bad is happening to the system clock and this is showing up in bf3 online. If it is the sys clock then why would a divider effect that? At a bit of a loss

Yeah, same mobo and same CPU (except with the GPU disabled). I don't want to loose the good OC either but BF3 multiplayer is way too bugged out with the OC on, which is very strange. I'm thinking MSI needs to fix this in the BIOS once they realize its a problem. Not sure what we can do about it. Also, please post if returning your BIOS to default values (including Lab Burst off) fixed the lag for you.

So, it's a real time clock issue. I measured a ~30% lag in the real time clock (30 seconds on my stopwatch = 20 seconds on sys clock). So, how do you speed up the RTC frequency?

Yep 100% fixed it. SOB it was running 4.1ghz stable... now its fing slow. I bought this combo bc of the ability to OC, I hope they fix it or we figure out a work around. At least BF isnt lagging now..... 1st i get crazy amounts of stuttering with the IGP and 6670 in crossfire making it useless now this.... should have bought an intel.
