Need a mouse suggestion

I'm very picky when it comes to my mouse. I've been using the same Logitech 800dpi mouse for 6 years and have become accustomed to its shape and size. I'm looking for a mouse with the same dimensions but with a higher DPI (~3000) and the ability to adjust the DPI on the fly while gaming.

Here's my current mouse:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826104379
Dimensions: L4.5" H1.25" W3"

Is there any mice that meet those specifications with the features I mentioned?

I've tried my buddies G500 and G5, but didn't care for the large size and shape. I was looking at the Deathadder, but the dimensions appear too big. The CM Spawn looked promising until I realized how wide it was, I like to grab the sides of my mouse with my thumb and ring finger while gaming.

I was just looking at the Razer Abyssus and its size and shape looks perfect. However, it appears to have DPI switches on the bottom which will make switching on the fly impossible. Does this mouse come with software that will allow me to program a keyboard key to a certain DPI?

best mouse ive ever used. its extremely comfortable, not to big and not too small. has a DPI up to 5200 but is fully customisable from 1DPI all the way up to 5200DPI you set what you want. it has 5 profiles and each profile has five DPI settings. ohh, and of course all the buttons are located on the top of the mouse in an easy to reach place. you can shoot and change dpi at the same time.

also it is weight adjustable and has an easy to read LCD display with customisable graphics. everyone i know who has a Razor mouse and has tryed mine have gone out and replaced their razors

Since you're a logitech fan i doubt you will care much for razer... but the 5600dpi, 3.5G Mamba is awesome, very comfortable, 1ms response (AND WIRELESS!!!), not to forget heaps cheaper now it has been superseded by the 6400dpi 4g version!

Well apparently you didn't read the entire post. The only thing I like about my $10 Logitech mouse is the shape and size. I even stated I hated the Logitech G5 and G500, and was looking at a Razer.

Thanks for the help bro

How does the DPI switch work with the Mabma? Is there software for a hot key or is there a button built on the mouse?

It does not have 1ms response time when wireless. Not sure where you even read that.

@OP

Looking at your mice, I suggest you try out the Razer Abyssus as you originally stated.

The Razer Abyssus uses the same sensor as the Razer Deathadder which is definitely one of the best sensors in the market. I can't comment on build quality outside of the Deathadder though. Deathadder is about the only mice I know that consistently has good quality control. Everything else from Razer when it comes to quality control is quite iffy.

I was looking at the abyssus and it appears that you have to flip the switch on the bottom of the mouse to switch the DPI. That's not very convenient, I want to be able to switch the DPI without flipping the mouse over.
