With Shaw... Basically in BC, AB, SK, MN. I think shaw owns all the cable lines in those area's..

Shaw is the 1st provider with 100+ MB connection in Canada. And they already have a 1 GB connection too running near me. They are testing it out some more before it hits the market..

The problem with the Canadian telecommunications industry and regulating body is that years ago,Ted Rogers and his buddies sat down with Keith Spicer and his cronies at the CRTC to hammer out the rules and regs' for the industry.
Of course, when your buddies are making the rules for you........

Europe has its own side of the internet though. Doesn't take much to get from Ireland to Spain.

I read the post that you said about suburbs of chicago, same area for me.

I used to have comast, it sucked. My parents were paying ridiculous prices for ATT phone and Comcast TV and Internet, I was getting about 15mbp/2mbp for like double the price that we're getting 15mbp/1mbp with WOW!. I used to think I was having router issues, but then when we switched I learned that for some odd reason I kept getting dropped with comcast..

Also, my signal internet doesn't just "turn off" 3 - 4 times a day when I'm playing games or streaming a lot of youtube videos..

I was getting fed up with Rogers' throttling, even had a tech come to my house to try and figure it out! Not to mention paying $120 / month since I always went over the dumb data caps!

So glad TekSavvy became an option, I couldn't be happier!

really ? Dont get how here in such a small state we can have 120 down ( 10+ up ) and 80 tv programs for just as low as 46 bucks. I just dont get it. And they charge so much and still gives some FUP ? Wow anyone ?

Just this month i passed 500gb of downloaded data. Sometimes i get well over 1 TB..60 Gb limit is just unimaginable.

There is a clear conflict of interest when you provide both TV and internet services.
