Recommend me a motherboard

Thread Starter
I am looking for a socket 775 motherboard that supports DDR3 and preferably usb3. So far I have found Asrock P43 Pro but was unsure:
  • Corsair CX600w PSU
  • G-Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333MHz RipjawsX Memory Kit CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V
  • Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU
  • SAPPHIRE ATI Radeon HD5750 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E Graphics Card‏

Would it compliment this build well? What other motherboards would you recommend for overclocking?

*** EDIT *** - Just found out the Asrock P43 Pro is out of stock... back to square one!

The one you posted is one of the better ones that supports DDR3.

If your q6600 is a good chip you will get high clocks

This is one of the best 775 mobos out, rare to find too
Thanks for the response however I am looking for a DDR3 board if possible (looking to sell my DDR2 ram to fund the new motherboard and cheaper DDR3 ram)

Sorry I thought that board supported ddr3 it was only then I relised that was the earlier board.

The one you posted in op is your best chance for a decent 775 ddr3 board

Thanks again for the reply but again this board only supports DDR2 and I require DDR3.

It is difficult at best to find a decent board for a chipset which is over 2 years out of production.... However this should suit your needs... Unless you are wanting to crossfire or SLI....

Ok, what about this motherboard:

Asus P5P43TD

Do you think I would get good Overclocking out of that?

*MAY* have found the Asrock P43 Pro in stock.

Which would be better out of this one and the one I listed above?
