My folding box has completed its first 1%!

Currently I'm going to stick to SMP before jumping to bigadv for my stability tests.

I'm working on a 6099 project, and I got 5:14 TPF, giving me 44915 PPD.

5.1ghz @ 1.49v. I'm really hoping this is going to be stable... this is wicked PPD.

e: Folding is definitely the best benchmark out there... more tuning!

e2: Sigh... wish Linux had a BSOD :[

Two things to note; you should definitely stick to SMP until you have completed at least 10 units - if you're not currently getting bonus points, you won't get 45K PPD unfortunately; not yet...
I just read your folding rank lol, oops, if you're already getting bonus points on that username then fold on

Also, those units (6099) seem to give unusually high PPD.

most PPD I've ever got out of my Q9550 is 10k on an apparently really good WU, I think it was a 70xx project.

Yes, I have been around the block... a couple of times. p

As far as the 6099, it does seems so, the one I got after that was showing 37k PPD. (yay crashes giving new WU)

Nice! I honestly don't know if I'm stabilized a 5.0ghz profile, I definitely need to do a lot of stressing this weekend. I'd just prefer to jump straight to 5.1

You definitely have the right attitude! Pull as many points from your system as possible!

How are the temps with that noctua? I'm planning out a 2600k folding build and I don't know if I should pick up a cheap H70 or that.

I'm pushing this chip quite hard at the moment. It's running at low to mid 70s, and tapping 80s at times with 1.47v (maybe 1.48, I forget now). I think I may purchase a third fan to help cool it off, as currently, it's an open box unit. Not sure how those usually compare in temps, but certainly a factor.

(I may also order some Artic Silver 5 TIM, because I'm struggling to get a good base with the Noctua supplied paste.)

for folding 24/7, 1.48v is kinda high imo. It might negatively impact the chip in the long run.
