Is there any word on making it possible to destroy AA emplacements? I have not been able to do so, not sure if its just me or intentional.

Are you talking about the ones in the bases? I think that's intentional, I think they're trying to stop the uncap base rape. If you played BF2 on the map Wake Island you would know what I mean...

Yeah I'm talking about the ones on the carrier and such. I understand that they are trying to stop base rape, but it seems that I am always getting shot out of sky by those things. Especially the one canals as its pretty close to shore.

I agree its a bit close - I played a game on this last night and just sat in the AA gun, I could cover 2 of the flags pretty well as well as shooting everything out of the sky - I must have destroyed at least 4 or 5 tanks, and god knows how many buggies with that thing.

However while I was in it, im sure there was a health metre for it - but im not 100% positive on that, even if it does, good luck getting close enough to do enough damage.

Believe me the tanks armor needs to be nerfed. Mostly because of the sheer number of tanks. You spend a few minutes and lives killing one and you feel so good about yourself then another one shows up. So annoying.

RPGs/SMAWs aren't designed to be Anti-tank weapons. They work as it, but to take out tanks you want Mines, C4 or a Javelin. However, I do believe that there needs to be some aspect of "secondary explosions" when hitting a tank with a Javelin/well placed RPG that will hurt sometimes kill people standing behind the tank. Especially on D. Peak, having a tank be immortal because there's 3 Engineers standing behind it with no real ability to kill them is a bit much.

Also, one thing people need to do more, DOUBLE UP your mines. One will disable, two will kill before they know what happened. With the explosives specialization, you've got 6 and so long as you don't use all 6 at once, finding a supply crate can get you plenty more to make vehicles unable to touch your location. On that train of thought, they really need to allow you to pick up ammo for explosives after you've run out. Grenades I can understand, but mines/RL ammo should have the ability to be refilled.

Yay, some pistol love. They really need to increase the fire rate of the M1911. As of now, it's a terrible pistol, but it was one of my two favorites in Bad Company 2 (I also loved the MP443, which is my favorite now in BF3). It is, presumably, stronger than the G17 and MP443 so maybe it shouldn't shoot quite as fast as them, but right now it's trash.

And thank goodness jets are getting a little something, they are a little too easy to take out, and they aren't even a huge threat to ground targets so they should be able to stay alive a bit longer IMO.

I found it odd that the UMP seemed to be overpowered in everyone's eyes during the beta. I, personally, didn't like the UMP.

And I could see tanks getting nerfed, but to be honest I kill a fair number of tanks (love me some M15 AT mines and rockets) and I think that some people just focus a bit more on infantry and could maybe put more effort into taking out tanks, and that would help solve the problem. But they are pretty tough (they are tanks after all) and nerfing them a little wouldn't hurt.
