Htpc/light gaming pc

Hey guys, I need to put up my HTPC for sale on craigslist, and wanted to know how much I should ask for it.

It has the following components

E4500 Core 2 Duo @2.2ghz (overclocks to 3.0)
Asus P5K Pro P-35 chipset Mobo
BFG 8800GTX OCX 512mb GPU
2X1gb Mushkin DDR2 ram @ 800mhz
Rosewill 530w PSU
Cheap case
DVD burner
250gb sata hard disk
Win 7 Ultimate

This will be a sale for just the tower. I know it isnt worth much on here, maybe $150 if I was lucky, but I have seen many systems on craigslist with much weaker components sell for more than $300. Just looking for your opinions as to what I can get for this system.

Too bad it doesn't have a little more memory. Emphasize the Video card and make sure you mention gaming in the title and description, you can probably get $250 for it. $300 if you are patient... Maybe. Always been able to sell my computers on CL for asking price, but sometimes it takes a while with no response until that right person sees it.

Overclocks to 3GHz, or is overclocked to 3GHz?

You'll be surprised how many people will buy a computer based soley on CPU clock speed. If you advertise it at 3 GHz, i'd say it is more than likely that you could get $300 for it.

Craigslist is all about aggressive marketing, downplay the RAM and such, make sure it is known that it has win 7 ultimate (make a note of how much this costs in the ad, something like "and windows 7 ultimate edition a $200 value for free)

Write it well and take nice pictures. Tricks to selling anything. Good luck to you!

Thanks for the advice guys, ill keep your tips in mind when I create the ad.

In response to the overclock, it was overclocked to 3.0ghz for a year, but after I swapped hardware, I put it back to stock. All the settings should still be saved, but I would have to rerun prime, or linx to make sure its still stable at that clock.
I dont see why it wouldnt be .

I would put more memory in it, if DDR2 wasnt so ridiculous right now. 2gb works great with this machine, I know 4gb would make it run a bit faster, but its still usable.
