So in BF3 if you shoot somebody, and the bullet goes to the left and hits the wall, does the person still die (when the bullet clearly never made contact)? No

Shooting mechanics, models, etc, everything is better in BF3. In CoD, its always the same from the previous game. They will never change it because they don't need to. People will always pay for it.
I am not saying COD is better. I really enjoy COD series single player. Its like really good political military thriller . Battlefield has really poor single player.
I was playing BF3 beta. It is just not for me and im not trying to prove its a bad game.

So what happend to Ghost really ? There were rumors and some trailers with his voice ? I cant wait to find out hehe

There's really no point in arguing. COD and BF are just made for different people. COD is much more fast paced than BF, and BF is great if you like to sneak around and silently kill people, snipe, etc. I would consider COD more of a "competition game" in a sense. Because it focuses more on reflexes, and skill with a gun than BF. BF is primarily tactics, strategies, and working as a team. But doesn't require you to be as quick on your mouse and keyboard as the COD franchise.

Also, I wish people would stop accusing BF2/3 as just "a game where you camp". Yes, you can camp and do alright, but you can do much better if you use your recourses as they are meant to be used. That means, if you have a silencer, you can safely move behind enemy lines without being noticed as easily. If you are assault in BF3, you can use your paddles (defibs) to revive fallen comrades. When you play as support in BF3 you can drop ammo and provide suppressive fire to allow your team to advance. And finally, recon can spot potential threats, and snipe the occasional enemy.

It is the same with COD, you can camp, or you can play it how it is meant to be played. That doesn't mean running around like a crazy person, but using your environment. Use the obstacles as cover, and advance towards the enemy. If you have an RPG, help your team mates by destroying helis.

I just wanted to set this straight, BF is not better than COD, and COD is not better than BF. They are just different. Unique in their own way to match a players liking. I like BF3, but that does not mean I think COD is just a "total noob game". Both games are fine. They are just meant for different people. So stop arguing about it.

BF3 has cover for you to use everywhere, all of which are destructible. They have concrete barriers, walls, buildings, bazaar stands, vehicles, gas and oil pipelines, tanks, and on and on.

Want to destroy aircraft, use a stinger or a multitude of AA weapons.

What it comes down to is Dice has essentially added everything you could think of. You can do just about anything in BF3 and the better you play as a team the better you are. I can run around COD lone wolf style and win matches, you don't need a team.

BTW good luck getting the rush that is a dog fight in MW3, since you knwo you can pilot your own planes and helicopters. Also, tank fights and generally controlling vehicles.

Oh, scripted destruction.

I'm done

I agree with the maps. Most of the maps feel so small and feel like Bad Company maps. I love this game and it looks amazing but I can't wait for the Back To Karkand maps. I want more large maps. Like Grand Bazaar, it's a cool map and all, but the whole map is like the size of my house although I do enjoy it here and there because it's a close quarters infantry map basically

Yup, Battlefield 3 is completely new built from the ground up using the newest technology out. MW3 is a re-skinned game from 2007.

Why would they release DLC for $60?
*sigh* People seem very eager to get this thread locked. (as most other BF3 vs. MW3 threads).

This is a thread about MW3. If you're here to whine about why someone would choose this over BF3, you're in the wrong place.

As has been said over and over again, these two are VERY different games with different targets. Some love the teamwork in Battlefield, others prefer the one-man show (not always the case, but often is) in MW series. Please respect other people's opinions and quit being childish/an elitist.

@OP: The pic links are down btw. Might want to look into that
