So you know, there's no way you can fit a top-mounted radiator internally in the Monticle.

See I emailed them about that.. what case would you recommend for a 360 rad from MM?

Originally I was like you. I really, really, really wanted to fit my WC system into a Monticle 18, but the space just doesn't work. Since they mount the PSU top side, then you run into space problems. Based on my correspondence with them, it was something less than 1" of clearance. You could do the rATX thing and flip the mobo around, but I'm not sure if the mobo would "stick out" too much to prevent you from getting the radiator and fans in there.

I ended up going with a Pinnacle 24, and I am currently running an RX480 and an RX360

You might be able to get a Monticle 24, and then get the triple top, and mount the radiator towards the front. But be warned, you'll basically be taking up more than half of the top two 5.25" bays. The way I solved that problem is to use an I/O panel and a Fan Controller in the top two bays (they don't stick into the case that far) and then I put my Blu-ray drive in the bottom.

EDIT: The other option is to get a Pinnacle 18, and then front-mount the radiator, but you'd have to check that the front radiator wouldn't interfere with your GPU.

Well I am looking for something under $350 painted so Ill look at the other options from MM. Thanks for the heads up man.

EDIT: So I have been looking at the Pinnacle 24, it looks like you could mount a quad radiator up top and not have a problem with PSU clearance. It also looks like you could the psu on the back side of the MB if its a problem, but it does not look like it would be. Reason why Id like to mount it on the top is bc Id be worried about having a radiator on my intakes because it would prolly heat the case up??

I'm currently sporting a RX480 with Gentle Typhoons on top, and everything fits hunky-dory.

I'm not sure what you by "back side of the MB." The way the Pinnacle works, it's impossible to have the PSU under the MB. The PSU mounting bracket is part of the rear panel of the case, and the MB panel comes out of the rear panel and can rotate between ATX and rATX.

Also, don't worry too much about having the radiator as intake or exhaust; it really doesn't matter. Also, forget about the traditional "heat rises" business. Given that we are forcefully directing the air with fans, the rising/falling of variable temperature air is insignificant. Now, if you were doing a completely passive system it would be another story.

No problem. If you have any other questions just ask. I mean, I literally just went through the same process of figuring out MM cases,, so I'd be happy to help.
