*U2311h or U2312HM*

Is there a big difference between the two? I asked a Dell representative and apparently they are not making the U2311h anymore so they said I couldn't order it. This is on Dell.ca btw. The U2312HM on the site is $319.00 and I was wondering if it's worth it or not?

Here is a 24" Samsung for around the same price. It costs about 15$ to ship it to Ontario.

EDIT: Here is an LG 23" IPS monitor for around the same price.

How is that relevant? Those monitors are quite a bit inferior in most aspects.

At OP, check these
http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2311h.htm
http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/dell_u2312hm.htm

The latter linked should have comprison between it and the u2311h.

They are quite similar, for detailed differences, check the reviews linked.

Would you say that $319 is worth it? I heard that they go on sale quite often...
They had the U2312HM on sale for $259 up until 2-3 days ago. Call them and see if they can honor that price for you. There's also a 10% discount code ($52S54K9791QT4) which applies to all monitors/accessories.

Thanks for the code, ^_^. I'll call them and see what I can get, thanks.

Edit: The guy told me that they never had a sale on the U2312HM on the dell.ca site. I could of sworn that they did, T_T. I asked if $319 was the final price and if they could do anything to help me out and he just said **** about warranty and crap in broken English. Should I try calling again?

Any suggestions?

According to Canada posts price tracker, they hit as low of $229. I was thinking of calling Dell as I was interested in a set at this price. Post your results please

If no luck, ill wait it out - it will drop again.

It will go on sale at some point. Usually during holidays. Don't be surprised if Dell Canada has a sale during U.S. ThanksGiving or for U.S. black Friday. They do this often.

Otherwise the Asus PA238Q is as low as $259.99 in Canada and probably just as good if not better. Just try and get it from a place with a good return policy.
