Looking for a classy mATX tower case...need suggestions!

So I'm putting together a new watercooled rig using the ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z as the heart of it all. The only hard drives I will be using are of the 2.5" variety (SSD or otherwise). I am in no hurry to 'complete' the build in the sense that I am only using an HD5450 until newer, better cards are available. I will not be watercooling anything but the cpu, and will be doing a custom loop with a 240mm radiator (unpurchased) and a modded D5/MCP655.

So that's the sort of room I'm looking for.

I do not intent to do any significant modding. I'm tired of it and just want to drop everything in and use the computer. I'm find with drillings a few holes and making a few cuts if it is absolutely necessary, but I'd rather just screw the damn thing together. Whatever happens, I'll almost certainly need to remove hard drive cages...so they need to be easily removed.

Every case I have bought for myself has been a Lian Li. Unfortunately, I just don't see the competition there anymore, at least not in this form factor. the V600FB has potential, but everything I have read suggests the board I have picked will not work well with it. Additionally, a 240mm radiator will not fit in the front without some help.

The A05 has quite a following here. It's inexpensive (for a Lian Li) and looks fine. But that's all I can say about it, it just looks fine. I'd like a painted interior without having to do it myself, and the A05 would also require significant modding to get a decent watercooling setup in there. Not complicated modding by any means, but stuff I don't want to have to do.

I like the Fractal Design Arc Mini but I'm not sure I can make the jump back to steel and plastic. Everything I have read suggests they still have fantastic build quality, and the only faults I can visually see are the white highlights (which I'm not interested in) and the fan slots on the side panel. This is probably the one I end up getting, for lack of availability on others.

What I would really like is a Soldam WiNDy or an Abee equivalent...if anyone knows where I can source one I'd make love to you. Or not. Your choice.

So what are the other options out there? Silverstone? Corsair?

The only mATX case that can fit a 240mm rad would probably be the Arc Midi

The TJ08 has a lot going for it. In particular I am a huge fan of inverted motherboard trays - especially when they aren't just plain aluminum! I'm not certain I could cram the watercooling stuff in there though as it's a bit smaller than the cases I was first looking at. Still, it is a nice case and is on my list.

Does that 3.5" slot at the bottom look chincy in person? It does in pictures...

The A04/A05 and Arc Mini were sort of covered in my initial post, and the TJ in the succeeding one. All of them quality contenders. The V354 is a bit small I think - I'd like to be able to get at my motherboard without needing to remove my power supply. Interesting suggestion though, I will put a little research into that one later tonight.

If you like the TJ08-E but is uncertain about its smaller interior, perhaps consider MountainMods Monticle 24. It is larger and so you do not need to cram WC components into it. Pic below for quick reference.

I have a Corsair H100 in my Lian Li V354 with some slight modding.
