Smarter Scheduling ups Dozer win7 performance 10-20% - Page 8

I see a pattern of people defending AMD being conspiracy theorists.

Hrm, I should do a research project on this.

I've owned more AMD cpus than the majority of users here, and probably Intel as well....we are consumers. If you buy "because you support company A" when company B's product is obviously better, you are a fool.
hehehehe true,

I support AMD because I cannot afford Intel , so it also comes down to your budget, I still remember my 1st AMD cpu a 386sx a nice chip. But if the B company products are suiting your work much much more than the A companies then yes it will make sense.

Actually we the community hyped BD and AMD has given a good performance chip many times even with their limited resources.

no.

being shortsighted, and going only for short term gains is the fool's mindset.

it kills your future. there are endless examples of this, and the examples are not limited to consumers. in every aspect of life, forfeiting future for short term gains, bites one back in the ass.

therefore, any kind of benefit to a corporation with shady dealings, especially if convicted multiple times, is something that is detrimental to one's future gains.

that's why when a corporation screws its customers, or engages in filth twice in a high scale, i cut all kinds of dealings with them.

ook.

last morning i may have accidentally pissed out of the loo a few drops. can we count that as a misdeed/fraud/shady dealing too ?
JF-AMD was talking about server processors the whole time, server apps are already optimized for 8 or more cores,so you would probably see a performance gain there.

You must be pretty rich then because your cash obviously isn't leaving your wallet to go to any large corporation.

Hrm, I should do a research project on this.
research the january 2010 FTC order to intel, and research the 3 different international court cases that have been conducted from korea to eu to usa for the intel's shady dealing with pc manufacturers.

but then again, maybe not. these were already mentioned here in this thread openly. if you were not able to perceive these after reading, and still talking about 'conspiracy theory' and whatnot, you wouldnt perceive what you researched either.

this is what turns this planet into a hellhole.

a corporation that is built on an affinity for shady dealings, will NOT stop when it is fined, ordered, this or that. it will find another way to keep doing such things. just like how resorted to crippling amd/via/other cpus in their widely used libraries, after being fined for their shady dealing with the pc manufacturers.

you can bet your sweet ass, that they are doing something else after they got ordered by ftc in jan 2010 to fix it.

amd is not a born and raised american corporate culture corporation. if it was, you wouldnt be overclock the chips, you wouldnt have all the amenities of chip (like virtualization) available, you wouldnt have acceptable participation in open source, there wouldnt even be an amd - they would have sold it out to intel and got away with the proceeds, like most of the same do.

there are other corporations that do not share that particular corporate culture, however it is not our subject as of now.

if i was selling stuff in ocn, and lied about my stuff twice, and engaged in trash, would you buy from me again ?

So I guess we should scrap the evil American capitalist system and all live happily under the iron fist of communism like such distinguished and prosperous countries such as Cuba and north Korea?

btw, I don't consider buying an Intel processor as supporting Intel. They just make the best processors. Deal with it....
