600 Dollar BF3 Rig

Hey guys! building a new rig for a friend for battlefield 3 and the budget is 600 dollars. Could i get anyone to throw together an optimal build in that price range for me? thanks! +rep for all good contributions!

Decent cpu cooling for overclocking

ram

AMD or INtel?

Does he have monitor/periphs?

we have a monitor. we have cd drive. mainly we need a psu, motherboard, graphics card, case, cpu cooling (want to OC whatever we end up with) and a hard drive and ram

also we have a i7 2600k. thats the processor the build will be based off of.

Should have went with i5 2500k for gaming. Better CPU. But, Since it's an i7, Make sure to turn off hyperthreading. I heard it doesn't play well with BF3.

Thats BS & crazy, he didn't buy i7 to turn of HT..
If HT is problem then the game has to fix it, i heard alot people with high end pc are getting Choppy 50 fps there...
Game looks good but optimization is fail

nzxt gamma. not a great case but it is 35 bucks and fits large graphics cards, good airflow, psu dust filter.

good way to save money on a build.
