which laptop

Thread Starter
Hp pavilion g6 1190em
Intel® Core™ i3-2310M 2.1 GHz
4 GB DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6470M (1 GB DDR3 dedicated)

$680

acer 5750zg
Intel Pentium ® B940 2.0 GHz
3 GB DDR3
Nvida GeForce GT 520M 1GB DDR3

$604

everything else is practically the same connectors and all...

so which would be better for casual gaming
and if hp is better does it justify the $60 price increase

(i don't live in usa so please don't tell me that newegg has them for $300)

I would go with HP because it has a better CPU and 1GB of ram makes a difference in gaming.

They are pretty equal except I think the i3 is a little better processor plus you get an extra 1gb of memory with the HP.

i3 has 4 threads, as opposed to 2 on the Pentium. Would be better at multitasking.
