This fan is not happy with undervolting. Just PWM-function will bring it to acceptable loudness. Watch this:

vid

rpm ranges from 1.500 to 5.500.

You should get some 240v or 120v fans instead, or even better EC fans but they are not really needed. If you can find a small food distributor or a butcher as them can you set up inside their coldroom for a few hours. I am sure they would let you.

120mm fan!?!?!? LAME go get one of these and make a shroud to reduce it to 120mm

Although I will buy an NZXT Sentry Mix when they hit stores and see how quiet it can get when undervolted enough.

I'm using this fan for daily, and live with it (lucky for me, my ears can still distinguish good and crapy musics )

it's on my Ven-X (sandwiched on the HR-03 and the Ven-X)

I really hope you bought the PWM version.
as stated by nothor, you can get full speed control for this kind of fans by applying PWM signal to them

placed upside down

@nothor,
I've just watched the video you've posted above...
it's really crazy how that fan blows things out...
but next time....please don't blow any fan anymore, I'm afraid it might affecting their performance
