Help: Recommend a case???? - Page 3

Unfortunately, that is way too expensive....

CM 932 Advanced case @$200 + custom water cooling totaling around $400ish...maybe $500 and I don't even have the build yet?!? frown.gif

I thought I'd go with a H100 cooler and a Corsair 600T or Carbide R500 or some other alternate case but that's the budget for now.... to get me started.

If I way more funds later to play with, I can look at custom cooling but for now, I think that's the route I have to go. Just gotta choose which case and then which mobo etc.

Take a look at this 500 Review. It has an issue fitting watercooling so I dont recomend it as you would need to mod it to fit a H100.

The 600 would be a better bet.

You should be able to find that case for under $150. If not, I know some places still sell the original 932 at that price. The only difference is the inclusion of a USB 3 front panel.

And a custom water cooling loop was under $300 for me. I used a kit, which allows me to build on the loop later. The H100 is an all or nothing deal, and if you decided that you want to go custom later, you just wasted like $100.

If you are wanting to go watercooling, save the money on the closed loop and use air for now. You can still get some good overclocks with it.
