Turns out it's a pretty big dud in my book. The tracking is terrible depending on your mouse pad.
With firmware update 30a it tracks but has incredibly high lift off distance. It keeps tracking almost an inch off the mouse pad
I'm posting this as a warning to other users. If you have a mousepad that is multi-colored DO NOT GET THIS MOUSE! It tracks horribly on anything that apparently isn't solid black.
I sort of expect that from mice today. For that reason, I use a [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Mionix-000MIOP-Propus-Mouse-Pad/dp/tags-on-product/B004LR2VKK"]Mionix
Propus 380 Hard Black Mousepad[/ame] for both my Spawn and G9x (desktop, keyboard tray). Firmware 30a is indeed terrible with the LOD, but Firmware 31 and 32 both work wonderfully on it. Smooth like butter...and at 800 DPI too.

Good mouse, horrible drivers.
That deterred me at first but I just change the sensitivity in-game or through the .cfg file and there are no problems.

This is the best gaming mouse I've tried yet. Much more comfortable and slightly better tracking than the G9x.

Yeah, mine doesn't do that and is solid. Make sure they give you free shipping.Edited by Deverica Wolf - 11/7/11 at 3:40am
