It never hurts to get the 2500K and then upgrade to Ivy?Thats what I am going to do when the money is right.I would go SLI on the GPU'S.It looks like a good build to me you have to post pics when it is all done.

I would recommend getting at least 1 new 1Tb HDD if your disks are 4 years old. I had a WD black and a seagate barracuda 750gb that where both about 4 years old fry on me in the last 2 months.

Good point, especially with holidays coming up, things are going to get cheaper.

I used the for a couple years, it looks similar to the G400. I made the switch to after trying my sister's mouse. I am extremely happy with the switch. Not saying its the best, but I am saying that the G400 may not be everything you think it is.

Every 4 years? Can you wait until Ivy?

Also you should look at the Corsair 650D/800D.

i could..but is it really going to be that different, since it's a "tick"?

Pro/Con waiting for Ivy:

Pro:

- New Tech..better CPU

Cons:

- Have to wait about 6 months, and possible chance of more delays...bulldozer fail doesn't help push intel either
- I really want the pc up and running before Guild Wars 2 (fav game of all tiem for me)...which will be out around Q1 2012 as well (March/April i think)
- BF3 could use some help (i actually already bought he GTX 570, have been running 8800GT for a while now)..tho i could just use the GTX570 and with my current Q6600 till April 2012..
- Right now i am basically getting the i7 2600k for $200 ($280 - $80 for bundle)....in 1H 2012 when Ivy is released...i would have to full retail for Ivy...i doubt microcenter will have Ivy for $80 off..so price/performance might be pretty close in the end...what will $200 buy me with Ivy? you know what i mean?

Anyways....im up for any suggestions/comments to above statement.
