If you're wondering about 250 FPS it's due to the faults in the Quake 3 engine they didn't fix.

So will the 6790 be compatible with this Motherboard?
Yes the graphics card will be compatible with that. Also just would like to let you know, with that mother board, you are only allowed 2 ram sticks. But the ram you have (8GB) is very good for you.

Also, Regarding CoD4, If it runs with the Quake 3 engine, You should be able to get high FPS no problem with that card.

Never personally ordered from them, but I have heard nothing but good things. They have been around forever in Canada, and their us site is fairly new, but they are quite reputable.

I would like to say that NCIX is a very good company to order things from. I've used them in the past and have had great service.

This board is better:
http://www.Newegg.com/Product/Produc...tem=13-128-504
Better power delivery, better chipset, and cheaper counting shipping.

Sounds like I'll definitely be purchasing everything through them.

Thanks for all of the help. I'm already starting to like this forum a lot.

I'll use this one then. What's the difference really? But for $5 dollars I could careless as long as it's better

@Birdy1337

Would I be able to overclock anything on this build, without needing anything or no? If I need extra, I won't OC.

If your interested in overclocking much I would suggest a board with more robust vrms like this one http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?inv...O-BO-R&cat=MBB

If your uncomfortable at all with refurb motherboards (totally understandable) then I probably wouldn't go that route, however that is a real nice board for the $.

The gigabyte board I linked a few posts up that your considering would allow for some minor overclocking on stock vcore fine and even a small bump of vcore (up to 3.8ghz or so max is my guess) which is ok since you don't have an aftermarket cooler in the budget anyway.

Well right off the bat, You would need an aftermarket cooler instead of the stock cooler they give you to keep from getting high temps. So I guess that counts as an extra. Unless you are doing fine tuning overclocking and not touching the vcore. But doing some fine tuning might not show alot of increase in performance.

Also, I'm not quite familiar with the MicroATX board, But I'm pretty sure you can overclock on it just might not be as high as others.

I guess I'll stick with everything I've got then. Again, I appreciate all of the answers. Really helpful.

If I need anything, I'll just post back I suppose.
