Didn't "mock" your intelligence, only your knowledge..
You're not helping anyone because you're working with false info/facts/knowledge.

That's quite amusing really.. to get 220W out of a 2500K you need ~1.6V and Prime95 Small FFT.. or in other words, you want to kill your CPU for w/e reasons or you simply are That ignorant.
The only thing that will make your 6870 draw 220W is Furmark + consistent overvolting.

There's nothing, and I mean NOTHING, that approaches the power draw of these two benchmarks(both are essentially power bugs designed to test the absolute limit of you CPU/GPU).
The most you'll ever see in gaming/rendering/encoding/etc from your CPU is <100W @ <1.3V, about 110/120W @ ~1.4V and around 150W @ 1.5V; and for your 6870 the 180W is pretty much the top limit with non suicidal overvolting.

You don't buy power supplies according to what your system Can draw in extreme conditions running the most stressful benchmarks you can find, because no normal/usual load will ever approach such power draw.. unless of course you are a hardcore bencher, but benchers don't come here asking if their X PSU can run their Y/X/etc hardware

That's why your advice is poor and you're not helping anyone.
