Corsair Perf3 SSD RAID0, ASUS P6T, and Random Lockups

Hey all,

I have two Corsair Performance 3 series drives (256GBx2) on an ASUS P6T (Intel x58 and onboard Intel RAID0 SATA2). Its fast as a bat out of hell and works great, usually. But on occasion, I get to a point where there's a complete lockup where the OS becomes completely unresponsive, task manager wont come up, ctrl-alt-del wont work and it requires a hard shutdown. After the hard shutdown, the drives do not appear, and the boot device is not found. After another reboot, it goes into windows and does a chkdsk.

It's a major annoyance whenever it happens, and I am trying to pinpoint why it is happening... Anyone have any experience with this?

This sounds like a ram issue. Oddly enough, eh?

if yoiu have a bad stick, it will kick off a bad write, which can cause OS corruption. The resulting OS corruption will cause BSOD, once it starts, it will get more frequent with time.

So remove all but one stick, and then run a boot test of memtest. Then check the others, one by one, to isolate the problem. If you eliminate that then on to other tests...
