I agree completely.

However, ISP's need to stop throttling, capping, over-charging, and under delivering on speed, or else it will take a day+ for some people just to get their games.

You download it once and back it up yourself.
The idea is great but they wouldnt be reducing the cost for a $60 dollar game I am sure, just making more of a profit. I love getting the cd to install faster.

It happens to EVERY game. Most of the time the Xbox version is leaked and pirated before every other version.

Lol no, a DVD drive is still faster than the vast majority of most peoples internet connection.

I myself prefer owning physical copies of games, this is just personal preference. i'm not a fan of downloading games.

I disagree with that 100%... here is why.

I work away from home sometimes months at a time and most times without internet, most I can do is use my phone as a mobile hotspot and thats if it has 3G. I'm screwed if its only edge and even more screwed if there is no TV reception. So, by what you saying if it was your world I could not walk into the store and purchase the game for the single-player and instead would have to download it? No... Never. Im inside of a trailer for my job... I sometimes get Wifi and when I do no way is it fast enough to download 16gbs of a game lol. I refuse to spend three nights outside of a starbucks with my laptop running trying to get a game . CDs/DvD are a must. It is a shame that someone pirated the game so quick, but it happens just like movies that cost way more to make than games lol.
