debating upgrade from xfx 850 black edition

alright, im in the middle of finishing up my rig after changing a few parts back and fort and such... question here is, will the psu handle the strain without issues, or should i grab a bigger one, i like the rarity of my psu

current setup:
- i7 2600k @ oc genie 4.2ghz..
- 4gb gskill ripjaw 1600 cl7
- ASUS GTX 580 DC II
- MSI P67A-GD65 b3
- Thermaltake Frio
- NZXT M59 stock + 2 Cooler Master r4 blue led fans
- sunbeam rheobus 4-channel
- samsung dvdrw
- crucial C300 128gb
- samsung f3 1tb
- WD black caviar 1tb
- seagate 1tb
- XFX Black Edition 850w

New setup:
- i7 2600k @ fine tuned 4.5ghz (if i can get there)
- 8 gb gskill ripjaw 1600 cl7 (either grabbing another 4gb kit, or 2x4gb config)
- XFX 6950 2gb CrossFire
- MSI P67A-GD65 b3
- WC setup (swiftech mcr320 / D5 / 3 (maybe 6) AP-15s)
- CASE not decided on yet (tending towards phantom)
- sunbeam rheobus 4-channel
- samsung dvdrw
- crucial C300 128gb
- samsung f3 1tb
- WD black caviar 1tb
- seagate 1tb
- PSU in question

i hope someone has already messed with a very similar system, as i would hate to have all my parts in, and not get it running 100% due to a undersized psu

thanks in advance!

I had a very similar system. 2600K, 2xgtx 460s, everything WC and my ABS 850 ran it with ease. you'll be fine.

6950 2gb crossfire?

You have way more than enough psu power there buddy

Plus that one is excellently rated too, so no don't replace it.

2600K @ <1.4v ~130W
6950 ~220W
the rest <100W(only if you use a high voltage pump, otherwise it's more like ~70W)

nice quick numbers you got there mate, i just went through another round of searching, apparently some of the psu calculators put the 6950s a lot higher then they really are...

thanks for the input !
