In a month it would probably be an .08 cent increase in power over the 560 Ti's.

The heat is a big deal if you plan on going passed 2 way SLI. Thats the biggest turn off for me right now. I'd love to add another card folding, but more heat....

LOL who even calculates stuff like that?

How's galaxy warranty though?
it says limited so does that mean that once they no longer can replace that card they'll tell me to eff off?

A year or two ago, I told them my GTS 250 was running at 100C and they told me it was normal.

I haven't bought a Galaxy GPU ever since then...

the 470's lackadaisical performance is largely due to its relatively very low clock rate, ie only 607MHz stock reference

while I wouldn't particularly count on an 800Mhz overclock, ~700+ should be easy peasy and 750+ realistic possiblity, which is an easy 16-25% increase, certainly nothing to sneeze at.

so you must have all LED lighting or a very small floors (or just poor lighting) if you're lighting an entire floor with just 90W

replacing one incandescent bulb with a CCFL would be enough to offset the difference in power if you're really worried about the difference in power consumption

I love my 470's! even more so under water. If I remember correctly I was able to overclock to about 725 core on air (not sure of voltage). Honestly it could have been eve more than that but regardless the gains from overclocking them are pretty big. I'm at 800 on water and I'm sure I can go higher with a bump in voltage.

My ears thanked me the day I set up my loop, they did keep the house pretty warm though lol.
