Good 970 chipset motherboards?

Hi,

I want a good budget mobo to overclock. I need to choose through these 3 mobos:

Gigabytes Ga-970a-ud3 (8+2 vrm)
Asrock 970 Extreme3 (4+1 vrm)
Asus M5A97 (4+2 vrm)

I know that good supply depends also on the quality of the mosfet.

Considering these:
-unlock cores
-overclocking
-Fan control and energy saver features
-I have Mushkin memory 1600 c7

which one will work the best for me?

Thanks

So nobody knows about these motherboards?

ASRock does:
+ X8/X8 CrossFire and SLI
+ UCC for Core Unlocking
+ Nice fan controlling (10 levels of speed or Auto)
- Some problems in the past with Mushkin RAM (maybe You will have the same problem)

ASUS does:
+ Good with Mushkin
- No SLI
- Don't know how stable it unlocks CPU's

Gigabyte does:
+ 8+2 vrm
- Buggy and old BIOS
- Problems with some HDD/SSD combination

I am happy to hear Mushkin is good with Asus mobo.yessir.gif

I was thinking of the M5A97 (4+2 vrm).

Is is worth it to buy the EVO version (6+2 vrm DIGI+) ?

If I where You, I would go with any ASUS, because of Your RAM is Mushkin.

I would never go with Gigabyte, it failt to much for me, I hate this brand,
but it is just me. Im old school. I used to LOVE ABIT, but they gone,
and now their engineers work mostly at ASRock (Pegatron).

Some of they went to DFI, but DFI is dead horse...

So, what I would do is go with ASUS, or sell those RAM, buy Corsair/G.Skill/APACER/Kingston/Kingmax and go with ASRock.

Asrock has 4+1 vrm phasing.. this is not good for overclocking.. Choose either the GA-970-ud3 or the m5a97 EVO.. Gigabyte has 8+2 and asus a 6+2 and both are solid overclockers.. Although i would prefer the asus because of the UEFI bios which is easier to modify

The Extreme3 (unlike the Extreme4) actually doesn't do CrossfireX 8x-8x or SLI and the value was terrible last I checked
