24/7 Pc on time with SSD as boot...

Thread Starter
Well, I invested in a crucial c300 ssd 64g capacity. I have system set using the guides I found here.... SSD as boot drive, 750g HDD set for User data, program installs, and windows temp files... from what I can tell very little gets written to ssd in terms of log files and temp. data. I also have x2 500g HDDs in raid for data storage of game and aplication backups of stuff aquired from direct2drive, and various other sources.....
Computer is set to never go into sleep/hibernation mode, and disks will not power down...

My question now, is this...

With my system set up that way, would I be safe in leaving it on 24/7?
Is there anything I can change, or do differently to keep the ssd as healthy as possible in it's life span?

I run my setup the same way and have had no issues. I think you'll be fine.

Ya I had a Crucial 300 for like 5 months and I had mine good to go for 24/7 as a boot drive with no hiccups. The only reason I now have an M4 is because a friend of mine bought it and forgot it at my house...so I gave him 40 bucks for it

I have a intel 320 series SSD that's going on 5 months now and I leave my system on all the time with a couple big HDD's as for storage. No problems here
