Photo Viewer

Thread Starter
I am insanely frustrated right now. I have a gif, and I want to default Photo Viewer to open it. Why? Because I like to look at a lot of pictures at once and be able to use the arrows to go through a folder.

When I go to "Open with" photo viewer is not there. From Google searching it appears that there is no exe for the program. It runs from a dll. So how am I suppose to find it?

Before building this computer I used OS X exclusively. I miss Preview.

I've been wondering the same thing. I make animated gifs and would like them to work in photo viewer. I have them set to open in photo viewer, but they dont animate.

It looks like somebody in this thread over on another forum made a program that lets you do it if you set it to the default program. I'll try it and report back.

Edit:

Well, it doesn't open it in photo viewer, but it is better than loading up firefox. The option to open gifs with the regular photo veiwer should still be there under open with if you go to choose program, but it doesn't animate them.

That's the problem though. It's NOT there under "open with" and because it doesn't have an exe you can't browse for it.
