Best Gaming Keyboard?

Thread Starter
I'm looking for the best gaming keyboard, no matter the budget.
I have a keyboard 10U$S and I have the chance to try a mechanical keyboard before you buy. What to buy as a first mechanical keyboard?

Edit: That is mechanical - No lights (except white) - No numeric pad, the better.

Sorry for my English. Thanks

well i don't know if this counts as a "gaming keyboard" but mechanical keyboards are awesome. That's what i would go for. Maybe like a filco majestouch.

No such thing as "the best gaming keyboard". As the above poster said, it's all preference. Some people want it to be mechanical, some don't. If some people want it mechanical, there's a bunch of different switch types to choose from. Some like blues, some like browns, some like reds, etc. Some people like backlit keyboards for gaming, some don't. Some people like media keys, some don't.

There's way too many variables, and as I said... it's all down to personal preference. If you tell us what you want most (mechanical vs non mechanical, back lit, etc), then we can help you from there!

Another vote for the Sidewinder X4. Has anti-ghosting which is useful for FPS players, and has macros that you can configure in-game without using a program, ideal for MMORPG players

For what you're looking for (mechanical with a white back light), the Ducky Shine is probably what you'll like best.
