Thoughts on OCZ ZT Series

Thread Starter
Title says it all. I wouldn't mind getting a fully modular psu for my current build, but am curious as to what people think of OCZ new ZT series PSUs.

When I say current build I mean a build I am planning out, not my sig rig.

zt series are good budget modular units

reviewed as solid units

no reviews on the lower wattage units but performance should be on par with most mid level units

They're solid budget units. The Rosewill HIVE series are comparable, and are usually cheaper, though.

Hmm thank you, I'll have to look into the hives... Forgot that Rosewill is actually making solid products now a days.
Once I go x fire on my build I was planning on using ocz 1000watt fully modular I believe it is the zx series (correct me if I'm wrong).... Anyone have any other high wattage fully modular psu's that compare?

Edit: Hive isn't fully modular which is one of the reasons I was looking at the ocz fully modular series so I wouldn't have to deal with rerouting my cables.

1KW unit for two 6950s?.. How much power do you think you cards require?

Not for my sig rig. Planning out a build for a gaming rig at my dad's house, planning on running a 6990 for now and then getting a second, or just going 2 right away depending on Black Friday prices.
